Chaz Warrington’s Journey Beyond the Ring
For fans of professional wrestling during the height of the rivalry between WWE (formerly WWF) and World Championship Wrestling, The Headbangers were a familiar sight. The duo, comprised of Mosh and Thrasher, made a significant impact in the tag team division, despite only claiming a single championship title throughout their WWE careers. Today, Mosh, known outside the ring as Chaz Warrington, has embarked on a new venture as an entrepreneur.
Warrington’s new undertaking, the Live Fortunate brand, is more than mere apparel. It’s a lifestyle philosophy reflecting his wrestling career and life experiences. Warrington emphasizes that he hasn’t been ‘lucky,’ but rather ‘fortunate,’ a belief that shapes the brand’s identity. He stated, “Live Fortunate is for those who’ve been told they’re lucky after working hard for something. I’m fortunate due to wrestling and my work with nonprofits in South Florida. These have led to events and opportunities I’ve worked hard for.”
His belief in earning one’s opportunities aligns with his journey. He shared how, while working a sales job in intense weather conditions, he laid the groundwork for future opportunities. Warrington’s pro wrestling background and community involvement have created spaces for him to mentor young talent, such as working at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Luck has nothing to do with it.
Warrington recalled the moment when he realized the significance of being fortunate. It was during a camp when a colleague called him ‘lucky,’ prompting him to respond, “Luck has nothing to do with it.” That realization spurred the creation of the Live Fortunate brand, which transcends beyond clothing into a message of gratitude, opportunity, and earning one’s path.
Through the Junior Achievement of South Florida, Warrington gives back by teaching youngsters financial literacy and sharing his life lessons. His journey has been marked by personal health battles, including overcoming thyroid cancer diagnosed in 2017. Warrington shared his positive outlook, focusing on a mindset that sustains him amid challenges, saying, “I try to find a silver lining in everything. The glass is always three-quarters full, ready to be refilled.”
Despite considering his experience with cancer relatively straightforward, Warrington doesn’t dwell on being a survivor. Instead, he uses his experience to inspire others facing tougher situations. “I talk to people about maintaining a positive mindset, finding silver linings, and believing in the possibility of renewal,” he explained.
The mind’s power to influence one’s perspective is a significant lesson Warrington has adopted and now shares. His brand, Live Fortunate, encourages others to recognize their fortunes and adopt a mindset of gratitude and opportunity to enhance their lives.
Chaz Warrington’s dedication to this philosophy continues through his brand, encouraging others to adopt the mantra of living fortunate.
