The 2026 NFL season is approaching, and the league has released its annual NFL Top 100 rankings. On Thursday, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams was ranked as the No. 53 player in the league, according to votes from active players.
Adams, who is coming off his 12th NFL season and his first year with the Rams, is 33 years old. He served as the primary red-zone target for NFL MVP Matthew Stafford last season, leading the league with 14 receiving touchdowns in 2025. Additionally, Adams joined an elite group of only 18 players in NFL history by achieving 1,000 career receptions.
During an interview with NFL Top 100, Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua offered high praise for Adams. “There are moments when he’s running routes, and you feel the ground shake,” Nacua said. “He’s applying a lot of force. People have to cover me, and also Davante Adams. Once we’re inside the 25-yard line, he’s always aiming for a score.”
While Adams led in receiving touchdowns, Nacua topped the league in receptions with 129. He also achieved a career-high of 1,715 yards and scored 10 touchdowns during his third NFL season with the Rams.
The Rams are set to open their 2026 regular season with a “Thursday Night Football” game against the San Francisco 49ers, scheduled for September 10.
