Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold has been arrested in relation to alleged kidnapping and robbery incidents, according to the Tampa Police Department. The incidents reportedly took place in February, and the announcement was made Wednesday night.
Before Arnold’s arrest, six other individuals were detained for their involvement in what authorities described as a ‘targeted armed robbery’ on February 4. Arnold voluntarily turned himself in and was booked at Orient Road Jail in Hillsborough County on Wednesday night. He faces charges of four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery.

The Detroit Lions have not provided a comment in response to Fox News Digital’s request.
The authorities reported that Arnold rented an Airbnb in Largo, Florida. During his stay, co-defendants Arianna Del Valle, Jasmine Randazzo, Lyndell Hudson II, Christion Williams, Boakai Hilton Jr., and Freddie Hughes also stayed at the property.
The investigation revealed three male victims suffered visible injuries after allegedly being battered and robbed. They reported being held at gunpoint and assaulted before being forced to vacate a residence on North 46th Street in Tampa.
Investigators stated personal items belonging to Arnold and others were stolen from the Airbnb on February 1. Arnold suspected two of the victims were responsible, but Tampa police later found them uninvolved in the theft.
On February 3, Arnold, Hilton, Hughes, and another individual lodged a report claiming over $250,000 in stolen property to the Largo Police Department.
Authorities allege Arnold and several accomplices planned to contact one of the victims and lure him to an apartment. When the victims arrived on February 4, Williams and Hudson were allegedly hidden and then attacked them.
Del Valle reportedly streamed the incident to Arnold, Hilton, and Hughes as they made their way to the apartment. Evidence of a group chat allegedly showed Arnold and Hilton directing Del Valle, Williams, and Hudson during the assault.
According to police, Arnold and his group reached the apartment around 1 a.m. Arnold allegedly instructed the group inside, leading to the theft of the victims’ property while the assault transpired.
The victims were reportedly forced from the apartment and into their vehicle approximately 40 minutes later. They subsequently reported the incident to Tampa police and identified the culprits.
Arnold is believed to be the key organizer of the alleged scheme based on investigatory evidence.
Originally from Alabama, Arnold was selected 24th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft by Detroit. In his past season, he registered his first career interception in Week 9’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, having played only eight games due to a shoulder injury requiring surgery.
In his 2024 rookie season, Arnold appeared in 16 games, achieving 10 passes defended and totaling 60 tackles.
