Jane Seymour recently announced her engagement to John Zambetti after three years of dating. The couple appeared elated as they walked the red carpet at the 33rd annual Race to Erase MS benefit in Los Angeles.
Seymour, 75, expressed her gratitude for finding love with Zambetti, 78, attributing it to perfect timing. She described herself as the luckiest woman in the world.
Zambetti, a musician with Malibooz, emphasized the importance of staying open to love. He advised against isolating oneself, saying, “There’s lovely people out there everywhere. I mean this is just kind of a miracle in my opinion.”
Seymour agreed, stating, “I love him. I cannot believe that I got lucky enough to find the perfect person at this time in my life.” The couple shares a supportive relationship, with Zambetti accompanying Seymour on movie sets and Seymour inspiring Zambetti’s music.
Zambetti proposed to Seymour the day before her birthday on Valentine’s Day. He recounted the somewhat tumultuous proposal, where his knee got stuck under the bed, leading to laughter between the two.
Seymour has been married four times and has six children. Her previous marriages were to Michael Attenborough, Geoffrey Planer, David Flynn, and James Keach. Zambetti was married for over 40 years and has two children from that relationship.
Zambetti and Seymour’s relationship is filled with mutual support and shared joy. Seymour’s past marriages and children highlight her rich personal history, while Zambetti’s previous long-term marriage adds depth to his life story.
