Lady Gaga Welcomes First Child with Fiancé Michael Polansky

Lady Gaga has become a mother, according to reports from People and Page Six. The 40-year-old singer and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first child together. Further details about the new addition to their family have not been disclosed.

Lady Gaga, a Grammy Award-winning artist, discussed her maternal aspirations in a March 2025 interview with the New York Times. She expressed her excitement about motherhood despite previous apprehensions. Gaga remarked, “I’m also kind of at war with myself sometimes as I get ready to, hopefully, become a mom soon. Like, today is wonderful, but the whole day has revolved around me. There’s an incredible amount of narcissism in this. How do I live a life where I’m passionate about my art while also making more space for other things?”

One significant concern she mentioned was allowing children to shape their own paths. “I want to give them space to discover who they are on their own,” she said.

In a prior interview with InStyle magazine in March 2020, Gaga shared her fascination with the potential of the human body in creating life, stating, “Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive.”

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky’s relationship began in late 2019. They first appeared romantically linked after being seen kissing on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. They became Instagram official in February 2020, with a photo of them on a yacht in Miami, captioned, “We had so much fun in Miami.”

Gaga announced her engagement to Polansky in July 2024, revealing that he proposed in April of the same year. They made their red carpet debut together at the “Joker: Folie à Deux” premiere during the Venice Film Festival in September 2024.
