MJF Makes a Dramatic Return to All Elite Wrestling

MJF returned to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) with force during the Grand Slam event in Mexico on Wednesday night. Following Andrade El Idolo’s victory in a triple-threat match, MJF emerged from the crowd, launching a surprise attack with the Triple B AEW World Championship. He reclaimed his Dynamite Diamond Ring in the process.

MJF’s actions left Andrade injured and sent a strong message to the AEW locker room. He emphasized that his reign with the Triple B AEW World Championship is the only ‘true’ reign. MJF expressed his determination to reclaim the championship currently held by Kenny Omega by winning the upcoming casino gauntlet match.

MJF declared, “Next week we’re in Vegas and I’m feeling lucky. There is a gauntlet qualifying match for the casino gauntlet match at All In for the No. 2 spot. I am going to enter that match. I am going to win that match.” He added, “I’m then going to go to Wembley where I am going to dog walk that perro Andrade again.”

The casino gauntlet match winner earns a contract for a future AEW World Championship opportunity. MJF previously won the match during last year’s All In event in Texas and later challenged Adam Page at Forbidden Door.

MJF achieved another title win at Worlds End in December but lost it briefly to Darby Allin. He regained it at Double or Nothing earlier this year. However, Omega defeated MJF at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break in July, marking MJF’s last appearance until now. MJF is eager to return to the casino gauntlet and aim for a fourth title reign.
