Morgan Wallen recently experienced a frustrating moment during a performance. A fan-captured video shared by Fox News Digital shows the 33-year-old musician dealing with equipment issues during his song “Sand In My Boots.” Midway through the performance, Wallen’s equipment malfunctioned, leading to his visible frustration. After completing the song, he walked over to the piano and pushed it over, causing it to break.
While playing ‘Sand In My Boots’ Morgan gets off the piano cause it isn’t [working] as it should. He finishes a cappella then proceeds to push the piano over, breaking it!
This incident occurred during his “Still The Problem Tour,” which began in April in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was part of his concert in Denver.
On another tour stop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, country singer Ella Langley joined Wallen as his opening act and later performed their duet, “I Can’t Love You Anymore.” The collaboration stirred controversy among fans online, with some accusing them of political affiliations. One social media user criticized the collaboration, while another user compared them to infamous historical figures.
Despite the criticism, fans also showed support. One user defended Langley, saying, “Who cares bama girl on top,” while another expressed frustration at the politicization of the collaboration: “Can we just enjoy a collab between two solid country artists without everyone f—ing crying about it, PLEASE?!”
Wallen’s piano incident is not his first unpredictable stage moment. In March, singer Nate Smith shared an encounter during which he threw a drink in Wallen’s face while on stage. Smith explained the gesture was meant to be humorous but was misguided. Despite the awkward moment, Wallen showed understanding, and both artists later laughed about it via FaceTime.
He’s a very forgiving person. He has a lot of grace. He’s a good man.
Smith recounted apologizing to Wallen, who responded with understanding, saying, “Man, I probably would have done the same thing, or I’ve done the same thing.”
