Silly Joy at ‘Eat an Apple With Me’ Event in D.C.

At Meridian Hill Park in Washington, D.C., the weather was warm, but attendees had even warmer spirits as apples became the centerpiece of a community event. Organizer Carl Endrulat described the gathering as an exercise in creating lighthearted happiness.

Endrulat, known for his love of Pink Lady apples, reflects on his first experience with the fruit. ‘It was the juiciest apple I ever ate,’ he recalled. ‘Now, every time I eat a Pink Lady, I’m reminded of that incredible moment.’

Participants, including Jenny Mandl and Endrulat himself, enjoyed the ‘Eat an Apple With Me’ event on Saturday, held in the northwest region of the park.
