A shooting occurred at a school in Nonthaburi province, Thailand, just north of Bangkok. A student is reported to have opened fire, as noted in a Reuters report citing police sources. Authorities have not confirmed the number of fatalities at this time.
The incident shook the Bang Kruai district, where officials identified the suspect as a student. Details about the victims, the suspect, and a possible motive are currently unavailable as investigations continue.
This shooting follows other similar incidents this year, such as a deadly event at a high school in British Columbia, Canada, in February.
