Recently, tensions have risen as the conflict in Iran extends into its sixth month. President Trump declared that military operations would persist until objectives are achieved. Since the U.S. launched an attack on Iran on February 28, over 750 American troops have been either killed or wounded.
In contrast, Iranian casualties exceed 37,000, highlighting the significant human cost of this conflict. The disparity in casualty figures raises questions about the burden of service and who bears it.
