This year, reporters Isabella Gomez Sarmiento and Felix Contreras from NPR Music embarked on a mission to find answers. During the ‘Days Between’ period — from August 1, Jerry Garcia’s birthday, to August 9, the anniversary of his death — NPR releases a series of stories, interviews, and podcasts.
