Trump Praises Senator Husted’s Physique at Rally

On October 21, 2026, President Donald Trump praised Republican Senator Jon Husted’s physique during a rally in Greenville, North Carolina. This marks the second occasion where Trump has publicly commented on Husted’s body.

Trump shared his admiration for Husted by stating, “I’m studying his body. I’ve never studied the body of a man before. It’s not my thing. Nothing wrong with it, of course.” He then added, “But I looked at his ass, and then I looked at his legs. I said, ‘His ass, s***, it’s like—it’s like a pile of muscle.’ Then I looked at his legs, and I said, ‘Man, his feet are big.’ Then I looked at his shoulders, and I tapped him on the shoulder, and it actually hurt my hand. He’s like a piece of steel.”

Earlier, on October 12, at a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, Trump expressed similar sentiments about Husted’s physique, drawing attention to his athletic build from his time as an all-American defensive back at the University of Dayton. He had remarked, “I looked, and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass, and I looked at the whole—and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He’s got these, like, claws.”

Husted is currently engaged in a competitive race against former Senator Sherrod Brown, a Democrat, for Ohio’s U.S. Senate seat. The Cook Political Report has labeled the race as a “toss-up,” indicating high competition.

This story is still unfolding, and more updates are expected.
