Understanding Gen Z’s Reading Habits

The Conversation, a nonprofit news organization, offers insightful analysis from researchers and scientists. Recent articles highlight a decline in recreational reading among younger Americans. Commonly cited causes include the impact of COVID-19, artificial intelligence, and social media.

However, in our research, titled “How Gen Z Discover and Consume Books,” we find that many of these claims might not fully capture the reality of Gen Z’s reading habits.
