The WNBA has announced the starters for the All-Star Game on July 25 in Chicago, featuring notable players from the Indiana Fever. Caitlin Clark leads the lineup along with her teammates Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
These selections came from a voting process where fans accounted for 50% of the votes, while players and a media panel each contributed 25%. This marks the third consecutive year Clark, Boston, and Mitchell will attend the All-Star Game together. However, it’s the first time all three have been voted as starters. Previously, Boston started in 2023 and 2025, Clark started the last two years, and Mitchell now earns her first starter spot after being a replacement in 2025.
The Fever is not the only team with multiple representatives. Paige Bueckers and Jessica Shepard from the Dallas Wings, along with Natasha Howard and Olivia Miles of the Minnesota Lynx, will start in the All-Star Game.
Joining them are Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson, a four-time league MVP, Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty, and Gabby Williams from the Golden State Valkyries. This year introduces a change in team selection. Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon, both legendary figures in the WNBA, will be general managers selecting teams from all the All-Stars playing in Chicago. This format alteration honors the league’s 30th anniversary.
Caitlin Clark has shown clear qualification for her repeated starting position. She ranks fifth this season, averaging 21.2 points per game while maintaining the league’s second-best average with 8.2 assists. Notably, she set a record in WNBA history as the fastest to achieve 1,000 career points and 500 assists. Clark overcame numerous injuries during her sophomore season in 2025, continuing to impress with her current performance.
With the starting lineup disclosed, the 12 reserves will be announced at a later stage.
