Behavioral scientist Gad Saad shared a unique experience of a late-night meeting with billionaire Elon Musk on the “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” podcast. He described a series of security protocols and escorts comparable to a “James Bond” scenario.
Saad recounted receiving a text from Musk with an address in Austin, Texas. It led him to a vehicle for a discreet meeting.
I receive a one-line text from Elon at around 9:30 at night, the address of his house in Austin,Saad explained.Driver comes, picks me up. I go through these canyons and he goes, ‘We’re here, sir.’ I’m like, ‘We’re here where?’ It’s like in the middle of a canyon. I can’t see anything.
The journey took Saad through canyons, culminating at a mysterious location. He noticed a black van and advanced toward it.
Upon reaching the van, he approached cautiously as the window lowered. He was asked for his name and instructed to continue walking, leading to a gate that opened, where another individual appeared to guide him.
This account offered a rare insight into Musk’s private domain and security arrangements before they finally met. Following the guide, Saad soon embraced Musk.
Saad amusingly shared the tale with his spouse, likening himself to a secret agent. So, I tell her the story, and I said to her, ‘I think I’m James Bond.’ She goes, ‘I think you’re James Bond also,’
he chuckled.
Musk has frequently shared Saad’s commentary on various topics, such as suicidal empathy. Saad explained this concept as excessive compassion weakening Western countries’ survival instincts.
In a message reshared by Musk, Saad emphasized his dedication to truth and freedom, expressing concern over the perceived attacks on these principles.
We did not lose a war of aggression. We decided that giving up our women, our children, our heritage, our society, our religions, our culture, our safety, our liberties, and our freedoms was LESS important than protecting the honour of those who wish to enslave us, kill us, vanquish us,he argued, illustrating the risks of suicidal empathy. It was all self-inflicted via parasitic suicidal empathy. Remember my words. We have signed up for endless strife and conflict.
Saad also discussed happiness differences between political alignments on Hannity’s podcast. His research suggests conservatives often report greater happiness compared to progressives.
According to Saad, this disparity may arise from contrasting outlooks on society.
Conservatives, in his view, find comfort in foundational values like freedom and liberty, fostering contentment. In contrast, progressives often focus on societal issues, potentially leading to dissatisfaction.
