The Seattle Seahawks recently celebrated a significant milestone as they received their Super Bowl rings. However, the absence of one key player was noticeable. Kenneth Walker, the standout performer and Most Valuable Player of the game, did not attend the event.
Walker delivered an outstanding performance in Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara. He ran the ball 27 times for 135 yards, proving to be the most effective offensive asset on the field. Circumstances forced Walker to take a lead role for the Seahawks after his teammate Zach Charbonnet suffered an ACL injury in the NFC Championship game.

Walker’s absence from the ring ceremony was due to his new commitment. He signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs about a month after the Super Bowl victory. Interestingly, the Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp coincided with the ring presentation.
During Super Bowl LX, Walker made remarkable advances by achieving multiple runs over 25 yards, joining a select group that includes Timmy Smith and Marcus Allen. His efforts set up scoring opportunities for the Seahawks, though he did not score a touchdown himself. Seattle’s offensive touchdown was delivered by A.J. Barner, but Walker’s relentless ground game allowed Jason Myers to succeed in all five field goal attempts.
Walker’s 135 rushing yards were among the top in Super Bowl history. His performance was impressive, surpassing Vegas odds expectations set at 70 yards by halftime. The Seahawks clinched the victory, defeating the New England Patriots 29-13, thus securing their second Lombardi Trophy.

The Super Bowl rings had unique features, including 50 white diamonds surrounding the Seahawks logo, symbolizing the team’s 50th season. They also contained a piece of a game ball and featured a removable element that could be used as a pendant.
