Selma Blair Involved in Incident on Delta Airlines Flight

Selma Blair, known for her role in “Cruel Intentions,” allegedly had a violent episode aboard a Delta Airlines flight. According to the New York Port Authority, the incident led to Blair being taken into custody and transported to a hospital for evaluation on Sunday night.

The Port Authority Police Department responded around 11 p.m. to a call after a flight from Los Angeles International Airport landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Two flight attendants required medical assistance following an alleged altercation during the flight. One attendant was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

The FBI is currently investigating the matter. Blair’s representatives stated, “Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.”

In dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, a flight attendant suffered a bloody nose. Blair allegedly “bashed her head” against an overhead compartment.

A spokesperson for Delta Airlines commented, “Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first.”

This is not the first reported incident involving Blair on a flight. In 2016, she was hospitalized after an occurrence on a flight from Cancun, Mexico to Los Angeles International Airport. She later apologized, citing a mixture of alcohol and medication as the cause for her behavior.

The FBI could not be reached immediately for comments. This situation is ongoing.
